1. Fruit Kabobs
Skewering kid friendly fruit will keep your children entertained while enjoying their snack. Plus, having a few of these prepared is great for on the go!

2. Frozen Yogurt Covered Blueberries
The name says it all. Use your favorite yogurt to throw on top of some fresh blueberries and stick in the freezer. Readily available for a quick bite to eat!

3. Cucumber Sandwiches
Keep them cool with a refreshing cucumber sandwich. Mix 3 to 4 tbsp. of plain whipped cream cheese with a few dashes of salt and ¼ tbs. of dill (optional). Peel and slice one cucumber and lay on a piece of white bread. Than spread cream cheese mixture on top of the cucumber and a second piece of white bread following. Slice in half and serve.

4. Watermelon Ice Drink
This simple drink is deliciously hydrating! Put 1½ cups of pureed watermelon in a freezer safe container than add ½ cup of processed chopped ice to watermelon. Every 20 minutes or so, scrap any ice that has formed with a spoon and enjoy. A great way to keep any bored kids occupied!

5. Frozen Banana Pops
They taste just like ice cream but without nearly the same amount of calories or sugar. Peel bananas and skewer with a Popsicle stick then dip in melted chocolate and cover with any toppings of your choice. Keep the kids hydrated by having a pitcher of fresh lemonade ready in the fridge. Combine ¾ cup of fresh lemon juice, ½ cup of white sugar and 2 quarts of water and set in the refrigerator to chill.
